Double acting cylinder coding

Hi there,

My team installed the double acting cylinder as described VEX manual.

The problem is when the cylinder extends it takes just fraction of second, but when it retracts, it is 5 or 6 time slower. Is this the nature of cylinder or you can code it/or adjust pressure somewhere so extend and retract could be really fast?

Adjust the exhaust flow control valve, another forum member posted this a few years back.
