My kids are looking to arrange their driver controls to suit the drivers based on previous years controls for ease.
We recently moved from Gen 1 to Gen 2 and are still getting to grips with the new interface etc.
The students have seen on some tutorial videos online that there is an option of Split Arcade 2 on the Gen 2 Brain where the left joystick controls forward and back and the right joystick controls right and left. However on our brain there is only one option for SPLIT ARCADE. This option only allows forward and back on the right joystick and left and right on the left joystick.
The students want to know how to find the 2nd option which is a set of controls they usually program their Gen 1 brains to and are very used to using.

for the built in drive program, go to the controls screen and cycle around the options using the check button. I forget which vexos version this was added, so make sure you are up to date and on 1.0.8
We have gone to the controls screen and cycled through the various options. But as you have in the image above “Split Arcade 2”, this doesnt exist as an option for us, only ‘Split Arcade’.
I will suggest to the kids to ensure the Brain & Controller are updated to the latest VEXOS which will hopefully solve our issue.

Ok, I looked up when this was added, it was in the 1.0.7 release in Feb 2023. It sounds like you are not programming the robot as VEXcode would have wanted to update.
