Drivetrain 2-motor vs Drivetrain 4-motor

I am guessing drivetrain 2-motor means that your robot has 2 wheels that are powered by a motor, and a 4-motor means that a robot has 4 motor-powered wheels. Is there something I am missing?

I do not know which one to choose

Do you have 2 motors or 4 motors on your drivetrain?

Your correct, most teams use 4 motors for a drivetrain now-days. The 2-motor confirguration is for a dual motor drive, and the 4-motor is for a all-wheel drive

Yes, that is correct, personally, 4 motors are the way to go but not always just depends.
