Driving Question

This is a really random question, but why do drivers tend to hold their controllers low and pointed to the ground. Is there a motive behind it or is it just personal preference? Trying to figure out how to best approach driving this season.

For me, just a personal preference.

My arms get tired if I hold up the controller for a long time, and there’s nothing much to see on the controller screen.

There is literally no reason. I hold mine up just because that is more comfortable to me. The biggest thing I can think of is that(this is more of a video game controller thing than a VEX thing) is that if you are putting two fingers on the top of your controller on each side(I don’t do this but it’s technically optimal but I just switch my one finger between bumpers) it can be tiring for ur 2 fingers holding the controller so some people may want to hold it pointed down.
