our robot keeps swaying to the right or left, we have one unresponsive motor and each sides wheels are connected with gears
Do you have a video?
Do you mean it zigzags or it moves ether left or right at a constant when you drive it forward?
Also something that may fix your motor not moving is
1- checking wether or not you have a burnt out motor.
2- checking that the wires are connected/ working. If your wire isn’t connected, or it is broken the red light on the motor port where you put the wire won’t have a red light.
3- making Shure that there isn’t to much friction.
