East Bay VEX Robotics Tournament

Join the East Bay VEX Robotics Tournament. Registration is only $40 for the first team and $25 for each additional team.

This competition will give Northern California teams an opportunity to compete with their robots in this year’s Round Up competition. This event will be on Saturday, February 26, 2010 and will be an official qualifier for the 2011 VEX Robotics World Championship being held April 14-16 in Orlando, Florida.
Walnut Creek is conveniently located in the East Bay at the intersection of I-680 and SR-24, about 16 miles east of Oakland, and about 50 miles north of San Jose.

Our capacity is 26 teams, and we are equipped for both VEXNet and Crystal systems. We will have Programming Skills and Robot Skills Challenges as well as the regular tournament. Awards to be given include Tournament Champions & Finalists, Robot Skills Champion & 2nd Place, Programming Skills Champion & 2nd Place, Excellence Award, and Judge’s Award.

The tournament starts at 8 am with registration & inspections, practice rounds until 9 am, qualifying rounds and skills challenges starting at 9:30 am, elimination tournament at 3 pm, and wrap-up by about 5:30 pm.
