While trying to download the code to our robot, a window popped up saying that the terminal failed to launch. The VEXnet and Game LEDs on the cortex microcontroller were flashing yellow. The same thing happened when we used a different microcontroller, a different joystick, and different chords. We updated the firmware as well.
This happens when the HID driver fails to start after the download. Close the terminal window, change USB ports and try again. If it fails look in the device manager there should be an Error Next to HID. This is a firmware issue not an easyC problem. We will shortly be releasing a new version of easyC that uses serial to download and it work much better.
