EasyC for PIC

I have a unique situation that I am hoping someone in this group can help me with.

We still use the old PIC brains with our “special” students and after many years they are starting to act up. I reached out the Tech Support who got me halfway to fixing the issue. They had me download RobotC for PIC (free version) which allowed me to put the Master code back on the PIC brains but when I downloaded the Default code it does not allow us to then drive the robots around (and yes we are using the old 75MHz controller with crystals). I am either looking for someone who has a solution or (better yet) someone who has a working/downloadable copy of EasyC for PIC software that I can get or (worst case) buy from you. Thanks!

Welcome back.

Send me a DM with your email address in it. I have the old pic software with the VEX_Master bin code and the Default Firmware.hex file that should let you get the default code.

You could also look in the RobotC examples, there is samples to drive the robot in it, so some programming gets you there. There isn’t a lot of diffference between RobotC and Easy-C text mode.

Just an FYI I’m out of here at 1PM EDT, so if I miss you I’ll catch you Monday afternoon.

I sent them the files, so they should be good. @drow you can do your lock magic before you head out for the long weekend. Thanks.
