oh ok :(. is your entire team seniors next year?
We’ll be 3 seniors (including I) and 1 junior (who most likely won’t continue after we graduate).
Also: I just know a lot about design because personally I like to notebook but never underestimate the power of notebooking! We’ve experienced good luck with notebooking in tournaments because you never know, it may even reward you with Excellence.
Edit: Diagrams can also be a good idea and using CAD (online software to put together robot designs) A few programs can be used such as Autodesk, Fusion 360, Solid works and etc…

hm yeah. to be honest, I’ve never really looked at our team’s notebook (even though it got us excellence at states, i think), it wasn’t because of our crappy driving skills. my goal next year is to focus on notebook and hopefully qualify for worlds through it. The main programmer on our team is graduating so our robot skills is gonna be so terrible. lol

Don’t completely rely on notebook to qualify for worlds though. We kind of did that this season for state and it did not work out in our favor.
how good was your notebook?
It was overall not so bad for someone who had taken notebooking seriously for the first time during Turning Point. I have lots to improve. Another tip is that handwritten over typed is great. Unless you’re printing and pasting things such as graphs, charts, CAD that should be fine.
my handwriting’s pretty trash tbh.
You could always have a member with better hand writing to do it. Or as long as it looks legible and neat (not a train wreck) you should be okay.
