Expansion edge case question

So this though expriment came up after our fist comp. During expantion if someone’s string entangles with you and is sufficiently attached to your robot and then the string breaks off the orignal robot does that string count for your expansion?

It would make sense if it didn’t, but it could also now be considered part of your robot. Any thoughts on this kinda silly edge case. Does it deserve a Q&A?

I don’t think it is reasonable for you to be able to steal a part of someone else’s robot during the match and have it be considered your own. It would also be a nightmare to consider what classifies as “sufficiently attached”. So no, the string is not a part of any robot anymore.
