Hey!!
We are trying to update the firmware of our Cortex and we are receiving the following message from RobotC. Have tried to look for a solution online but nothing works. Im running the latest Robot C version.

Well, that means that ROBOTC cannot see the cortex serial connection for some reason.

Make sure that the cortex is connected using the USB A-A cable, see if the cortex shows up as a “port” in the windows device manager.

If you are trying to update the cortex master firmware you can also try using the “VEXnet Firmware Upgrade Utility” found here.

If your firmware is already up to date, try and do a “software inspection” from the robot menu and see what that shows.
