In the video below, if you look closer, the ball lands on a blue mesh surface before being pulled out of the loader, do you know what legal part could that be? I thought about a wall of rubber bands but that will pull both beams tighter together which doesn’t seem like it’s the case.

I don’t know what the mesh could be. It’s awfully difficult to see with a blurred out robot. But, according to the current rules, everyone one of those loads was illegal. At the top of the arm, there are two pieces sticking out. Those two pieces sticking out put it into the loading zone. The loader can’t load the ball if any of the robot is in the loading zone. It could probably be modified to be legal, and I think it’s a good idea, but be careful.
I belive that is pneumatic tubing. I think rubber bands would work well here as well.

Yes, we noticed that too, we’re going to stay further back so those 2 stands sticking out won’t be in the loading zone.
