I remember saying this before, but for around 3 years, we had a random liscence plate that simply said “food”.
New organization 2 years later and our bot still has “food” hidden on the chassis.

My eighth grade robotics team’s robot was named Michael (pronounced Michelle). It was named after Michael Jackson. Also, our team name was Squirtle Squad (spelled wrong because our teacher mad a mistake with entering our team name) after the gang of sunglass wearing Squirtles in Pokémon. Very fun year. We were known as the zip tie team.

I said earlier that in 5th grade our robot name was Tim Jeb Jeb. That was Next Level.
Squared Away was Jovanky, a combination of everyone’s names. This year in Tipping Point, our original robot name was A2 after two A2 Milk paperbbags that we keep in our box, but we have since demolished it and have not decided what our new one will be called.
Not mine, but another team from my school has named their robot Betsy for like 3-4 years in a row. They also rebuild a lot so it’s probably Betsy VII now
My sister team named their TT robot ‘peaty’ and painted a derpy potato on the top of the fold out ramp named peaty.
