We feel that a large portion of why our flex wheels aren’t consistently grasping is due to the fact that they are worn out, how do you guys lubricate/renew your flex wheels after heavy use?
Alcohol wipes clean them nicely, but I doubt that is the main problem.
VEX recommends using deionized water on a clean rag to wipe the surface of the wheels. Do not use Isopropyl Alcohol to clean Flex Wheels, as it may damage the compound used to manufacture the wheels.

I use a lint roller to clean mine. Works pretty well.
