Flywheel help

Hello fellas
I was wondering what the best configuration for a flywheel was. I have speed motors geared to a single flywheel mounted at 45 degrees and 25:1 external hearing for a combined of 49:1. But a at times we found out that at times the balls were bearly going in. This was solved by putting turbo motors on the intake. My question is what is the best configuration of the single flywheel. Also what is the best ratio at my current angle to optimize speed and reduce slow down time when balls are launched. Many thanks

I would say the lower end of a single flywheel could be about 2500 or 2600 RPM. Our 3:49 high speed flywheel was a bit too strong with 4 motors (we needed to angle it up about 70 degrees), so 3 motors should be fine without too much slowdown (although we haven’t tested this very much yet). However, our 4 motor launcher was at 127 power through testing, so we need to conduct further tests at about 90 power so it would last at least 3 matches worth of spinning.
