What is your reasoning for spinning at 14000 rpm? I don’t see a practical use for shooting that fast and far, and could cause safety issues.
I hope you are trolling, if not, take a look at some other threads describing how to build a flywheel.
I’m not trolling, me and my team had a hard time using the motors and found it necessary to use 4 of them for the flywheel. I needed the fast spin speed to transfer the momentum of the wheel into the disc to shoot it
@550J_Robotics Could you be kind enough to enlighten us with a picture of said flywheel?
Then we’ve got some errors somewhere. Either the flywheel never hits 14k, or your math is off because all the wheels available will fly apart WELL BEFORE 14k.
I haven’t completed construction yet, we have been delayed due to the testing. It takes a while to build these things. We built a prototype but it is destroyed to build the new official one
