FLYWHEEL Trouble

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out what is wrong with my flywheel. It won’t start spinning, the motors attempt to rotate the shaft just for a second but it is not able to move the gears. We have he motors set to torque. I have seen other robots with my gear ratio working just fine and I think the problem is in the construction, because the programing seems to be correct. I will attach a picture of it and hopefully someone detects a mistake because I am stuck. Any recommendations are very appreciated.
Thanks

What is that gear ratio? 3:1::7:1::3:1? That’s 63:1 = ridiculously high.
Make sure all of your axles are straight, supported on both sides, make sure all bearings are flat. Possibly need standoffs between those c-channels to reduce friction.

Take the gear ratio down to 15 to 1 with high speed motors. This ratio is way too high.

Insanely high ratio! I can’t imagine two motors spinning that wheel at such a speed. Any bend in an axle or sort of unevenness in the build can cause friction though. Make sure your wheel would spin freely if no motors were attached.

We have a 15:1 gear ratio with speed. Those “other robots” don’t have the gear ratio you have built here.
Go for (5:1) :: (3:1) on speed instead of torque. Build quality really matters with the flywheels! New axles, new bearings, not too tight spacing, and standoff supported c-channels can make or break it for you.

Thanks, appreciated a lot, we will fix it tomorrow.
