What should we do to our robot’s fly wheel to improve the speed and accuracy?

Speed=Higher gear ratio
Accuracy=Even contact surfaces and compression ratios

I fully agree with that – once you get the hardware aspect of your flywheel(s) finished, getting a speed controller on there like PID or even simpler controller, such as a bang bang, makes a huge difference with the accuracy and fire rate of the wheel.
