Visucate is an authorized dealer for VEX products, so I doubt it’s a scam.
I spoke to a guy from there at Worlds. The downsides I see don’t apply to everyone.
While shipping is free, it will be days longer than direct from Vex for me, since I’m in Dallas. But many times, I’d rather have free slower shipping than fast expensive shipping, so that’s just an available tradeoff.
They are Edu marketers, not competition marketers, so as far as I can tell, they only sell big assortments of stuff like classroom packs, and wheel packs. I’m more interested in picking individual pieces for my specific robots, than an Edu pack.
Free shipping seems to be worth about 10%, so it you are in the market for a whole class room pack of some kind, they might be worth looking into.
