Could anyone provide me with the measurements of the indent’s depth since the manual doesn’t provide it, and how far in from the edge the drop off starts?
You really should have looked harder in the manual.
Aside from the dimensions being clearly stated in the game reveal trailer, in depth measurements of all game elements can be found in Appendix A of the game manual which is directly after the main document. Specifically, you can find the dimensions on Page A-9.

They provide the width and height but none of the measurements I mentioned
Are you aware that vex releases CAD files for all parts and game elements? If you need more comprehensive dimensions you should look there.

Assuming I understand what you mean, the indent depth is about 6mm and it starts 20mm from the edge.
