We have a VexIQ Controller with Logic PCB Rev#: 2 and Bootloader Ver: 1. The brick was programmed for the ClawBot and was working fine until the batteries died, AA not rechargeable. After switching out batteries and turning on, the screen stays locked on the Vex splash screen, been 30 minutes and no change. Any help appreciated.

​Found a resolution: I was able to boot into the firmware update and used the Vex Firmware updater to load the current firmware; now works.

We’re sorry that you have encountered this issue. As you have noted in your edited post, reinstalling the firmware will normally resolve any software problems that may be encountered by the Robot Brain, Controller, Smart Motors, or advanced sensors.
