Can a rule be instated that teams can only reccomend other teams, to avoid biases and to help identify genuine prospects?
You should interview team 81X
I don’t think there needs to be a rule. This isn’t our first rodeo and we would put more stock in those recommending other teams but more importantly why that team stands out or would make a good content piece.
We’re still new to RECF/VRC from a content perspective so we do need suggestions. Between here and Discord we have a lot of great suggestions coming through and we are mixing this with data from teams past performances and then look at a teams current performance (especially for day 2 filming).
Would you guys be open to re-interviewing teams that have rebuilt their entire robot? I think some insight into why they changed their robot would be very interesting.
Less likely this would happen this year. With us being at a limited amount of events we would place priority on featuring more teams.
There’s definitely value in what you are saying and hopefully in future years should we continue working with RECF at more events this would be more likely.

Just wondering FUN_Tyler, are you guys going to be at worlds?
Are you guys going to Lambeau field for the signature event tomorrow? If so, see you there!
Arguably, 13460C is the 2nd best team in the world. I say this because they haven’t lost a qualification match yet, even while going against some of the other best teams in the world.
See, I’m not saying this is cap, but…
