For those teams who are flying or otherwise travelling long distance for the World Champs, what do you plan on doing for your presentation?
Being that we are flying from New Zealand, I’m struggling to see a way we could do a video presentation as we would within NZ seeing as we cant bring over a screen and projector, and a display board or other such object is rather too unwieldy for a plane.
Any ideas?
We took a laptop and projector once and just pointed it at a wall. Worked out pretty well, all we had to do is inform the judges to give us a few minutes to setup beforehand. This was at the competition of the Americas NOT Dallas.

MAGS has some banners from last year we might take. Although I suppose if some of the other schools bring banners, we could all set them up at the massey table or somewhere with alot of NZ’ers, would that be sufficient enough? We do need to do this though, when we were looking at booking at the Aloft (I think) they replied to our email with an “Aloha” which we found rather amusing.

is there a problem with just using a laptop to show it? how many judges will there be? how far will we be away from them? I am planning on just using a laptop… can anyone see any problems with that?
