I and the rest of my team (7481B) have noticed that some words that aren’t titles in the game manual are capitalized. To name a few, “Elevated”, “Triball”, “Alliance”, & “Autonomous”. Why is that? And more importantly, do we need to reflect that capitalization in our notebooks? Thank you for reading this post and have a great season!
It doesn’t matter in a design notebook as long as the reader can tell what you are talking about. They are just important things in the game manual so are capitalised.
Also, triball isn’t a real word in this context instead it’s a made-up title for an odd shape so should be capitalized anyway.

I think those are words that are defined in the general definitions section of the manual.

as the others have mentioned, the reason some terms are capitalized is that they are defined words in the game manual, giving them importance.
you need not capitalize the terms in the notebook, but personally, it is nice to have it match up with the game manual.
