I just had an entertaining idea for a game reveal: have several of the VEX / RECF staff and executives play a demonstration game at the end of Worlds. This could be entertaining for the students and an amusing change of pace for the non-student contestants.
It might be even more entertaining if the standard VEX claw-bot is struggling to handle game objects that don’t really fit in the claw…
I always thought it would be fun for a match of the new game to be played. one idea I had a few years ago (wouldn’t work for LRT worlds though) would be to have the teams from worlds finals play a match of the next game using their robots for the last game or maybe just clawbots. would be entertaining.

As hysterical as it would be, I don’t see Dan Mantz crawling around on his knees around a VEX field…
human match would be a bit messy for next year’s game, what with all the soup.
however I have to admit that dan snorkeling through some minestrone would be a grand spectacle.
