We’ve been using a Gen 2 brain on our robot, but recently the brain has been acting up. The battery gets drained incredibly fast and autonomous programs just freeze up. We suspect the battery draining could just be because of the arm. We have switched to a Gen 1 brain in the meantime, does anyone have any tips or a fix to this?
Try using a Gen 1 battery instead of a Gen 2, it has worked better for me
It could also just be that either your brain battery or controller battery is low (programs pretty much always lag when the battery of either is low) and by low, I mean like 50%
It would also be helpful if you could send a picture of your arm and a picture of your code.
Maybe try replacing the batteries? Batteries become less powerful and can store less energy the older they get, and sometimes this can happen really fast. If you have been Using the battery for a few years, this is probably happening.
