Generation 2 iq brain inertial

Everything I found about headings on the gen 2 iq brains inertial has the brains screen facing directly up. We have out brain mounted vertically. Will the sensor pick that up and set the frnt of the robot to heading 0 and not the top of the robot?

yes, the brain identifies which way is “Up” when the inertial sensor calibrates. You may find that 360 degree turns are not quite as accurate, if that is the case, you can do a deep (not my name) calibration, see the instructions here, remove the brain from the robot to do this, it’s a one time calibration.
(do this in the orientation that the brain will be on the robot).
