Getting started with programming

Hi there,

I’ve just finished building a couple of clawbots with some students and we are eager to get into the programming. I’ve got RobotC downloaded and should have the VEXos firmware update programme shortly. I’m jusy wondering if this is everything we will need to start programming. I’ve looked at few guides to how the coding works but am not totally sure that we have everything set up so we’re ready to begin in terms of software.

Can you recommend any step by step guides to exactly what is needed?

If you are to open up RobotC and click “File”, there should be an option for sample programs. If you were to look at them and modify them, you can get the gist of some basic or intermediate programming.
