We are a small team from West Virginia who made it to Worlds last year but had a hard time getting anyone to agree to an alliance with us even though we were tenth in the division. I’m not sure if this is because I didn’t do enough scouting and talking to teams, but I feel like it was more than that. It felt like people were only picking teams that they knew. Do you have to be in the big alliances or have been the one with the first big reveal video out? I would like to be more prepared if we get back to worlds again.
Just talk to your teams and help them. make a name for your team so they know who you are. You don’t have to be big in the alliances but it would help

you do in a way have to advertise yourself, and one thing ive heard from a little bird about worlds is that some teams pick their alliances the moment the division lists come out.
