Our Giraffe robot is a robot that can pick up objects using the color sensor. The robot uses the color sensor to see what’s in front of it, and if it’s the right color, it will pick the object up. Then, the robot moves the block to another place. Our robot has 2 motors that move the legs. There is another motor that moves the claw up and down to pick up the object. We also have a motor that makes the claw open and close so that it can grab the object. We also had to put weights in the back of the robot to make sure that the robot wouldn’t tip over when the arm moves down to pick up the object. We decorated our robot with giraffe patterned duct tape.
