Can a video be inserted in a PDF for submission or is it strictly a pictorial essay?
Looks like the rules and details have not been released yet, but when they are, I would encourage you to follow them carefully. The will be posted here: https://challenges.robotevents.com/challenge/121/girl-powered-vex-iq-challenge-essay-challenge. Rules can change each year, so even if something was allowed (or not allowed) in the past, it could easily change for the current season.
