My team is working to tune our inconsistent flywheel and one thing that we noticed is that the rubber bands on the wheel are not smooth at all. Could this be making a difference of ~10’ of range variance on different shots? Does anyone wrap the wheel in non-skid matting, then put rubber bands over the top of that?
Doesn’t really answer the question, but your problem could also lie in the hood. It could be slipping inconsistently
