Greetings from... Nebraska!

We are team 3919A, the Fuzzy Wuzzys. We are a middle school team.

A little about our robot…

His name is Peter. He has a cage to pick up four or five rings at a time.
Peter has to prongs that can descore. He can drift-drive. Peter has an autonomous. All in all, he is good at both scoring and de-scoring.
We also placed second at Nationals.

Our members are:

Sarah-heyy, its sarah! im the person who talks 2 people for alliances.

Lexi- Heyy!!! its lexi and I talk 2 people with Sarah!!! (and no, I dont own a tractor)

Emily- Ello! I am the person who watches matches. I have to watch a couple hundred… yay. (I own a tractor, and we have 110 chicks in our garage… not as fun as you would think, ask Lexi)

All of the boys are busy driving, so we’ll just tell you their jobs.

Mark- main driver

Andy- secondary driver

Chris- helps with alliances, watches the table

Matt- helps watch matches

Zach- helps watch matches and alliances

Ben- programmer and driver

We hope to have a video up soon, so look for that.

We can’t wait to see you all!

Your fellow Robotics nerds,
The Fuzzy Wuzzys, team 3919A

does drift drive mean moving your bot side to side against the standard drive? because i do not know what drift drive is…

We can drive side to side.

i thought this may be the case

its called a strafe

…learned that from brunn lol

Here’s Peter in action!

Wow, thats amazing, especially for a middle school team. Great robot! Good luck at worlds!

good to know that somebody pays attention…

Wow! I am very impressed, if I just saw the video I would have thought you were an experienced High School team! Great job to your team, I know you will do well at the World Championship, and will be some very good competitors when you move up to be a High School team!

You can see our drift drive at:

Thank you! I’m glad you feel we will do well.

Very impressive robot especially from a middle school team. I really like how you use the strafe well to just “drift” like that. The descoring mechanism is pretty neat too. Good luck at Worlds!

Thanks. We worked hard on that.

Thank you. We have been working hard. This is our school’s second year of Robotics, but all of our members are newbies. We’re glad you think we’ve done a good job.

We now have 3 working autonomous

why do you keep posting the same link?
BTW i liked the way you introduced your team members in the original post
and your robot looks really solid!
whats your drive ratio and motor distribution?

Thanks so much for the comments. I’ll ask about your questions tonight.

They have an Excellent robot that desires the excellence award!!!
