Please watch this video, it does a really good job of explaining the requirements and why most of the âcheapâ designs, even those designed by companies such as Virgin would do more harm than good.

I like the idea of using readily available items to create ventilators. However, it is dangerous (potentially deadly) to use fixed number when controlling a ventilator. Weight, mass and health are taken into account when programming a ventilator.

Yes, all your points are true. I have also been in a big organization called SEWA and we are donating 1000 face masks. If this doesnât work at least we can help them out this way but sharing this video can help this reach the goal.
Like the video said, an MIT research paper did a study and this mechanism is not the same but it works in the same fashion. Gripping from both sides and you can readily change the speed and amount of oxygen it gives by changing how far it goes in. Like the video said in a life or death situation where they do not have access to a ventilator this could save them. The models the Companies like virgin made where made in a different fashion that what my design is and as the video said about the MIT design, although its not the same it works in a very similar fashion which could help people in a life or death situation. I really want to help so I hope you guys can share this video with your friends.
