Woops, I forgot! What was your costume for halloween this year? Me and my brother made duct tape masks. I should’ve taken a picture… they were very freaky.
Contrary to popular belief among the people giving out candy, the duct tape was not stuck to our faces. We took an old t-shirt and put it around my face, tying a ball in the back with duct tape to make it tight. Cut a hole for the mouth so I could breathe (really helps) and had someone cover my face entirley with duct tape. Cut off the ball in the back, and made holes in the back and put shoe laces in so I could tighten it like a shoe, made eyeholes, put on a black hoody, and viola! A freaky duct tape mask!
hahaha nice! I actually built a robot that would drive around with a basket of candy on it. When kids would come to my house I would drive the robot away. My first response was “IT’S A SICK JOKE!!!”.
Careful there, don’t get your Vex kit stolen lol! Good idea though. And just for the record, I didn’t cheat, when there is just an unsupervised bowl sitting there, I don’t take the whole thing like a lot of kids that I know. I only take a handful.
Yea, some kids actually brag about taking the whole bowl at my school. Oh and I was standing near a window in my house driving the bot, so no one could steal it.
Well… people can run pretty darn fast, so for a kid to jump out from behind a bush, sprint right for it and take it would be faster than you getting out of your concealed position inside your house. Not that anyone would actually do that, but hypothetically…
Lol! I haven’t been on the forum for a while but I was a mad scientist! Oh and I built this spider robot. It’s just a squarebot with vexlegs and a spider on top, I put it together in a few hours on Halloween. (never have any time or energy after school to do vex anymore) I went trick-or treating for a half hour and then I hid Spiderbot under a car and when anyone came, I’d drive it out. I got a ton of people!!! And “OH ****” is a great response on Halloween! lol
