Both to me are about the same difficulty. But, I put NBN as a bit more difficult than INZ because NBN took more precision.
I haven’t played many games, but:
- Skyrise - Especially hard as a first year team
- NBN - Precision and build quality required to be competitive
- ITZ - Not too straightforward for design but doesn’t seem too hard
- Starstruck - Didn’t require too much build/programming skills (other than skills). Mainly a driver game
To be honest, the toughest games in my opinion are skyrise at 1, then round up at 2. ITZ is a baby of both of those, so I could see this being the most challenging game. I’m not gonna say it right away, its too early in the season to determine that, but its something I can very well see happening.
Skyrise is the most technically challenging game so far, methinks. I was incredibly blessed to be able to end my VRC career at Skyrise. NBN’s robust flywheel design requirement probably comes at a second.
ITZ has a really open field, and really additional strategy aside from straight up scoring is not clear at this point. I think there’s gonna be a lot of push battles. ITZ may be the most strategically challenging game so far.
