I need help for the upcoming robotics competition. I made a climbing mechanism that hold on the polls on the side and climb up with wheels. It does work… sometimes. I’m not sure how to improve it to be able to climb up 100% of the time. I kinda broke it somehow so it isn’t actually climbing up at the moment.
While your mechanism is great and very creative I do not think it can be improved much as you would need tension on both sides which would be impossible to do because of the beams. For over under they were able to do it because of a clamp that didn’t move but obviously you can’t do that because of rules. However try flex wheels especially the harder ones it could grip better.
