Hello, I have a competition on Saturday and my teams starter bot isn’t working, the ramp at the bottom scrapes the floor and the chain is too low, I’ve double checked the pieces and I’m pretty sure I’m using the right ones, also the robot can’t pick up the discs, it gets them to the front and then stops, although I believe that one may be because I’m testing it with 1 motor but it runs on 2. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

For starters, posting pictures of the areas in question will help forum members to be able to troubleshoot your issues. To be blunt, the starter robot is not super well designed, so I can’t say I’m surprised that you might be facing issues… However, it may also just be a small building mistake rather than a large design flaw that could be remedied quickly.

It might be acceptable to bend the plate on the right upwards ever so slightly to prevent it from scraping the ground. Flat plate metal is intended to be malleable so it should be pretty easy to bend.

the hero bot design does not have a flywheel at the top, so you will have to make something to launch it.

Yes, they do move up and down, the c channels are connected to other c channels by an axel
That’s a good idea, all I thought about was filing it down.
