AI totally disrupts the student centered process and takes the human inperfections out. Making mistakes makes us human. Even if you do this in v5 there is a high chance that your are out of the runnings for any judged award. Students learning is the main focus and AI would make us more dependent on it.

The product line that we know as V5 is not likely to get a rebranding to V6 (hint - look at the rebranding of VRC to be V5RC.)… You are likely to see an iteration of V5 coming due to regulatory reasons in different parts of the globe.

At that point, what are we even here for? Just to drive and matchload? I assure you this wouldn’t happen especially because of all of Vex’s sponsors. why would they pour money into a robotic competition if they weren’t going to get anything out of it? And what would they even train the AI on? Other AI robots or previous vex robots from older games?
