HIgh Hang

On a high hang is it better to set motors to coast or hold?

It’s not about “better”; if you set your motors to coast, they will let go as soon as you stop telling them to spin and your robot will fall back down. (Unless it’s held up by a rubber band locking mechanism or something.) Setting them to hold is sort of like telling them to spin, except that the brain only gives them enough power to stay where they are, not to move further. That way, the motors will keep holding your robot up after you tell them to stop.

A continuation of the post above, hold is better, and the correct option.
