Can a high school student mentor an elementary team?
It’s a great idea to use High School students as mentors. These with experience of VRC can bring a lot to the party and also it is fantastic experience for them. We also had VRC teams helping run VIQC events last season as well.
Absolutely. Cornerstone’s two middle school IQ teams were started and mentored by two VRC students. For the past three years I used my VRC students (and parents) to run Cornerstone’s events, including the IQ Indiana state championship. The IQ kids love being able to talk robotics with the older kids.
