I was calculating and I got 48 points as the highest score will you please confirm this
I got 41, but that was the game objects were safely in the goals.
i got 49.
2X high goal: ball, barrel,ball, barrel,ball,barrel,ball,Doubler=22(7+1)=32
remaining circular goals: 7* bonus points=7*(1+1)=14
total game objects= 9 sets in field, 3 out field, one set= one ball and one barrel=24 game objects ( excluding doubler )
remaining game objects= 24-21=3
therefore, total score = 32+14+3=49

This web scoring program shows 48 as the max, so lets look at your analysis in detail:
-ok- 2X high goal: ball, barrel,ball, barrel,ball,barrel,ball,Doubler=22(7+1)=32
-ok- remaining circular goals: 7* bonus points=7*(1+1)=14
Thats 32+14 for a total of 46 points with 21 objects, just one more object to go.
- notok- total game objects= 9 sets in field, 3 out field, one set= one ball and one barrel=24 game objects ( excluding doubler )
Perhaps you forgot to exclude the negator as well? Quoting the rules page3:
26 + 18 = 44 total, 22 for each team.
48 is theoretical max, only possible if you can stack 8 objects and win all circular goals against a cooperating (or unmoving) team.
Teams aiming to “game” the Quality Point system, may want to aim for a 36 to 35 win instead, to pull ahead of the 44/22 winning teams.
but there is no negator in any skill challenges… and on the field, there’s 9 stack of 2, total 18 scoring objects. there’s 3 stacks of 2 for matchloads/preloads, total 6 game objects. therefore, total 24 game objects. if u were to include the 2 doubler barrels, a total of 26 game objects. the one that you quoted from is that of a qualifying round or the elimination match, not the skills challenge.
Just saying its pretty hard to get 6 objects with 1 doubler on a goal… Getting 7 objects to stay perfectly with a doubler, would be nearly impossible. (unless they feel perfectly in the goal, which is pretty hard).
You didn’t mention which of the 4 competitions you were talking about.
HS 2 on 2 Game: theory 48 max, practical max 41, actual highest : ?
HS skills competition: theory 32+14+6 = 52 max, practical max 49, actual highest?
VRCC College (2) on (2) Game: will have higher scores yet, because there are more circular goals and more game objects.
