ok so this is aimed at any one who has ben to a major event what is the highest score that has come from a single game. At the East Brunswick event there was one alliance that had a score of 167 and left just one green ball on thier own driving side
If there are no balls thrown outside the arena or overlapping the wall, the maximum score possible would be 50 small balls, 21 medium balls, and two large balls, for (50x1)+(5x21)+(2x10) = 175 points. If you managed to lock up 12 of the green balls (which I think is about the max that would work) you could get an additional 24 points for a total of 199. There are lots of pairs of robots capable of 175, but I think the 199 will never happen in competition this year. (You can add five points for the autonomous bonus if you’d like!)
While we are at it, what are the highest scores reported in the Robot Skills and Programming Skills Challenges? I haven’t heard any recent reports, but I believe from reading this forum that Robot Skills is around 120 and Programming is about 75. Let’s leave out scores from the practice field – what have you seen at official tournaments?
I have seen “Clean Sweeps” (i.e. clearing all of the balls off of your side) a couple of times, so it would follow that someone has scored at least 175.
The Green Eggs and I had one short of a clean sweep. Sadly i had an issue where my battery unplugged and then plugged in again (the terminals on the battery were funky) so my autonomous ran again for the last 13 seconds of the match and i blocked the last green ball. I think that match was in the high 160’s but i can’t remember for sure.

Correct me if I’m wrong but 575 got 122 at one of the washington tournaments in robot skills? As for a match, highest I’ve seen is somewhere in the 160s. I’m pretty sure someone out there has gotten a 175 or maybe slightly over that but I’m going to guess that those happened in matches where the other team didn’t move.
I’m not sure the exact score of the match, but 254A and 1000B did get a “clean sweep” at a regional last November, so I am assuming the final score was somewhere in the 160-170 range. As for robot skills, I believe that 254A has gotten over a 120, but I cannot remember exactly what they got.
LOL that was my robot 677 at east brunswick that scored 160something or 170somthing we were trying our hardest in that match but we were taking our time getting 4 green balls in each triangle then at the end we dumped about 4 or 5 green balls out of the field at the very end BUT WE MISSED ONE GREEN BALL!!! i was devistated just kidding.we can score 122 in the drivers skill challange but we havent practiced it much soooo we mess up and get 117 most of the time.
I believe 254A got 123 or 124 in Robot Skills at Independence High School on February 13th. If I remember correctly, as of then, their score was the world record. That might have changed since then, so don’t quote me on that.
I believe that 254A + 1000B got somewhere around 167-170, but I’m not too sure. And I think I hear remembering that 1114A’s autonomous scored 89 points?

how in the world could someone get 130 in driver skills did they pick up extra green balls or something
I remember that the 130 was reported as “I heard that a team in Puerto Rico got 130” but it wasn’t “Team N at event XYZ scored 130.” Unless someone else reported 130, it was rumor-ish. Having seen runs around 120 in person and in video, 130 would be really, really hard. Right now, I kind of think 125 would be the right range for the winning score at Worlds for Robot Skills.
