Hello everyone, I have just started this thread to know about something i have been wondering about for a pretty long time but I have not figured it out yet.
My question is, is highest stack bonus awarded during autonomous period?
I am not really tying this back to any of my team’s previous matches, but I thought that a highest stack bonus would be awarded during autonomous as well, not just at the end of driver control. However, the system that the skorekeepers use does not allow them to record a highest stack bonus for autonomous, just 1 highest stack per scoring zone and stationary goal, determined at the end of the match. I would really appreciate it if someone could clarify this for me.

For the purposes of determining the winner of the autonomous bonus, yes the highest stack is counted during autonomous. Just remember that it’s not guaranteed to remain the same and they rescore at the end of the match
so basically a stack could get the highest stack bonus twice, in auton as well as at the end of driver control, right? (Just as long as it is still the highest one at the end of driver control)
Not really. The score after the end of the auton is just a snapshot used to determine the bonus. The final score is counted at the end of the match regardless what was the auton score, just adding the 10pt bonus.
I think they mean, one single stack could be awarded the 10 bonus points twice, once for winning autonomous, using it’s height, and the other at the end of the match.
Which is not correct. At the end of auton, a score is determined to determine a winner, however that score means nothing. Your score is only official at the end of the match, and auton bonus is then added to that, as well as highest stacks.
