Holding multiple blocks


I have an arm on my robot but i do not know what to screw on right behind my claw so that when I pick up a pile of blocks, the top blocks won’t fall off when I lift my arm. I know that I have to insert a motor to move this new insertion so that my robot can fit in 181818.


I assume your robot’s arm moves in an arc. If this is the case, then you might want to adjust the arm design to something like this. Note the two beams making up the arm. These keep the claw level.

Note also that you don’t have to have the arm on a tower like that. You can do the same thing from the base of your robot as well.
