How are division finals alliances decided?

I was wondering how division final alliances are decided in worlds.

For IQ, same as a regular competition. Top X alliances are paired off starting with 1&2. The winning alliance for each division goes on to finals with that same pairing.

Not quite. At any other competition with divisions, all the teams are combined into a single list and there is one set of finals.

At WORLDS, each division has its own finals. Then the winner from each goes to the dome for… another finals!

Oops, meant the top teams from that division. I promise it was in my head, just didn’t translate to my fingers. :man_facepalming:
