how the heck r u guys finding these old threads. like i saw one revived from 13 years. another one from 4 years. is it like ur life goal to find the oldest thread and revive it
I estimate that either people are intentionally reviving these old threads, or there are new members to the forum that want find a topic. When they search for the topic, they click on a relevant one even if its from a long time ago, and they just reply not knowing that its against forum rules.
Most of them are searched for. But why would you want to find an old thread?
i mean 13 years ago. that crazy. that was 2006. i feel old too man.
also how could something from 13 years ago be relevant now
To us its irrelevant and odd, but to new members, it seems normal until they are told its not.
it was bout an airsoft gun. whats funny is his profile pic says revive. then he deleted the comment
That’s true, which inclines me to believe that it could’ve been done on purpose.
yet they joined 4 days ago
It could’ve been a new account made for the sole purpose of reviving a thread, thus the account is new, and the actions were intentional.
true true. cause why else would the profile pic say revive
that was me I changed my pfp to honor my stupidity, I deleted it thinking it might go away
yeah i was trying not to say names to call anyone out
but i must ask how in the world did u find that thread
i searched for gun and it came up i thought the Oct '6 meant 6th of October
also because of my curiosity i managed to find an even older thread ‘‘vex 2 wheeler - #5 by Ropdoc’’
(no i wont revive it)
dang. im honestly impressed u found 2 threads from 2006
Just search 2005 and 06 and 05s will come up
then this is now the oldest that I have found What is inside a library file
congrats, the oldest remaining thread. Nice work.
If you go through the wayback machine I think you can get some from 2004
