How can I get in touch with VEX about one of my teammates?

There’s this one kid on my team, and he’s broken almost every single REFC code of conduct rule, and I’ve told and showed proof to my coach and he didn’t hold him accountable, and then I told my principal and he didn’t hold him accountable STILL! How can I get in contact with and official human VEX employee about this?

Unless your teammate does such a major violation at a competition, the RECF will probably leave it to your coach to “discipline” (for lack of a better word) them, and will not take responsibility unless the problem becomes aparrent at REC events.

What exactly is he doing? No you really shouldn’t reach out to vex. Disputes like this need to be kept within the school unless he’s making death threats or something. I would try reaching out to your coaches and school admin again

For the record, a VEX employee wouldn’t be able to help you here. We don’t have anything to do with the RECF Code of Conduct.

You would need to contact your RECF TEM directly. Contact information can be found here.

If your coach and principal are not hearing your concerns, I think the best course of action would be to involve your parents. This is potentially a code of conduct issue, explain to them your feelings, especially if this is bordering on bullying. They can then decide if they feel this should be escalated to the RECF.
