How do i remove weight from my robot without making it too flimsy

so how do i remove weight from my robot without making it too flimsy or like making it too small to really be able use it without braking

You might want to try taking away some support beams or take away everything that is unnecessary.

Could you post some pictures so that we could see where the extra weight is on your robot?

This season, weight is probably less of a concern since the amount of driving distance is relatively short and robot doesn’t need to climb like last season. However, my kids did have a weight issue last season to get high hang efficient. So they essentially went through systematically to see if any 2 X beams can be switched into 1X beams and can any larger plates can be substituted for 2x beams. I hope that helps.
