My team is new to VEX EDR and we don’t have the V5 parts. Could anyone point us in the direction on what the team needs to do. I would love some what needs to be on the robot and what programming software we need to use. Thank you.

By we don’t have v5 parts do you mean that you are using v5?

I was just saying that none of our parts are V5.

Looking at that I see how it doesn’t make sense. I mean to say does that mean that you aren’t using v5?

I’m just trying to figure out how to start up my robot. We don’t really know what to do. All of the parts are cortex.

I remember our team using c++, but unless someone knows c++ just go with block code (I believe graphical robotc is its name)

For cortex you would use Robot c which is c, not c++. It is free to download. http://www.robotc.net/

Here is a good post to look through. It is not finished, but it will be updated throughout the season (I hope, not gonna make any promises here).
